Frederik Pferdt

Frederik Pferdt, PhD, is a global innovation leader who served as Google’s first Chief Innovation Evangelist. For over a decade, he led the "Google Garage," a creative space where he trained tens of thousands of Googlers in design thinking and creative problem-solving. Pferdt is also an Adjunct Professor at Stanford University’s d.school (Hasso Plattner Institute of Design).\n\nHe is the author of What’s Next Is Now: How to Live Future-Ready. Pferdt argues that the future is not something that happens to us, but something we create. He encourages a mindset of "radical optimism" and experimentation. His work provides practical exercises to help individuals and organizations navigate uncertainty and build a future they are excited about.
