Janice Omadeke

Janice Omadeke is an entrepreneur, speaker, and the founder of The Mentor Method, a software company that helped organizations build inclusive mentorship programs. She made history as one of the first Black women in the United States to raise over $1 million in venture capital for a tech startup and successfully exit through an acquisition. Omadeke is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a thought leader on diversity and leadership.\n\nShe is the author of Mentorship Unlocked: The Science and Art of Setting Yourself Up for Success. Omadeke argues that the old model of mentorship—waiting to be chosen by a senior leader—is dead. She empowers professionals to take a proactive approach, curating a "personal board of directors" to guide their careers.
