Pádraig Ó Céidigh
Pádraig Ó Céidigh is an Irish businessman, entrepreneur, and former Senator. He is best known as the developer of Aer Arann, an airline he transformed from a small island hopper into a regional carrier. Ó Céidigh is a lawyer by training and a math teacher by passion, often referred to in Ireland as the "Lord of the Rings" due to his ownership of the airline.\n\nHe is the author of The Accidental Entrepreneur. Ó Céidigh’s story is one of resilience and instinct. He didn't set out to be a tycoon; he saw a problem (island connectivity) and tried to fix it. His philosophy focuses on "listening" as the primary business skill. He advocates for perseverance, maintaining one's roots, and the idea that entrepreneurship is a service to the community.
