Scott Mann

Scott Mann is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Green Berets. He spent over 20 years in special operations, conducting high-stakes missions in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Colombia. Mann is the founder of Rooftop Leadership, where he teaches the relationship-building skills used by Special Forces to corporate clients. He gained national attention for leading "Operation Pineapple Express," a volunteer mission to rescue Afghan allies.\n\nHe is the author of Operation Pineapple Express and Game Changers. Mann’s work focuses on "human terrain"—the idea that in a complex conflict, relationships are more powerful than weapons. He teaches leaders how to build trust in low-trust environments and how to leverage storytelling to connect with diverse groups.
