Chapter 1: Choose Again: Transform Fear into Faith

Fear is one of the greatest blocks to our manifesting power. When we're stuck in negative thoughts, controlling energy, and uncertainty, we disconnect from the supportive flow of the Universe. The good news is that in any moment, we can choose to pivot from fear to faith with a simple yet powerful method. I experienced this firsthand during a book launch that had me completely stressed out. I was overwhelmed with thoughts of fear because I felt out of control, unsupported, and pressured to perform. My relationships suffered, I got physically sick, and I felt tremendous guilt for disconnecting from my spiritual power. Two weeks before my tour ended, I hit bottom with my negative patterns. One night I said to my husband, "I'm done with the drama. I'm changing the story. I'm getting more help, and I'm clearing space to focus on my gifts." Within seconds of making this declaration, I started feeling better. Days later, I headed to California to close out the tour and had the time of my life. The event planning went perfectly, and I allowed the Universal creative force to move through me. The key to getting back into alignment is simply wanting it. In an instant, we can forgive our fear and choose again. This is where the 3-Step Choose Again Method comes in. First, notice the thought that's causing misalignment by asking, "How do I feel right now?" Second, forgive the thought by celebrating your desire to shift and thanking your negative feelings for showing you what you don't want. Third, choose again by asking, "What is the best-feeling thought I can find right now?" and requesting guidance from the Universe toward that thought. This method may seem too simple, but we don't have time to dwell in drama. Being committed to a spiritual path means we're ready to wake up fast. We need to make feeling good our highest priority. When we choose again, we send a prayer to the Universe that we're ready to feel good. The Universe always responds to this request by guiding us toward our next right action. Begin your day in alignment by starting with a practice that gets you aligned as soon as you wake up. I've created morning mantras that guide me to return to love, accept myself, and forgive any misalignment from the day before. This practice has been a saving grace, instantly putting me into spiritual, physical, and emotional alignment. Remember, a single shift in your behavior can redirect your entire day.

Chapter 2: Embrace the Joy of Feeling Good

One of the biggest blocks to our Super Attractor power is our resistance to feeling good. Many of us have come to rely on fear as a form of protection against feeling disappointment or hurt. We've become so accustomed to the fearful projections of the world that we don't trust that things can be good. Unconsciously, we think that if we focus on good things, we'll lose control, be unsafe, or be susceptible to disappointment. In the first decade of building my business, I experienced joy and faith, but beneath that was an ever-present undercurrent of fear. I was scared that if I weren't working incredibly hard, my career would fall apart. This belief stemmed from childhood when I picked up the story that "If I don't do it, no one else will." I spent my life believing I had to strive hard and overwork to get what I wanted. It wasn't until 2016 that I hit bottom with my workaholism. My struggling and stress finally took me down, and I surrendered with the words: "There has to be a better way." The moment I surrendered to the Universe, clear direction came through. I received intuitive guidance to pay attention to the places where I felt supported. I realized that the only area in my career where I'd allowed support was in event planning with Anette. She was so confident and in charge that I had no choice but to surrender to her support. I started to repeat the mantra: "Everything is happening around me and I'm truly taken care of." I said it while driving, cooking, before bed, and upon waking. Within months, I attracted two new people to help, let my husband own his role, and delegated responsibilities left and right. The key to feeling good is to decide to stop feeling bad. It's as simple and profound as that. We've been waiting for our life's circumstances to give us a reason to feel good, but we have it all twisted! Once you feel good, you start to easily attract what you desire. When we make feeling good our priority, everything else can flow. Try the Think It to Feel It Method to borrow a moment of happiness and apply it to a situation where you're struggling. Then affirm how you want to feel, meditate on those feelings, and let the Universal guidance flow. Make feeling good a practice by doing more things that make you happy and protecting your good-feeling emotions from negative influences.

Chapter 3: Release Comparison and Embrace Abundance

The fear of not having enough and fear of not being enough are major blocks to our Super Attractor power. Many people suffer from feelings of lack that have been ingrained since childhood, or they constantly compare themselves to others and see everything as a competition. In my Spirit Junkie Masterclass training, I noticed many students didn't feel good enough or believed they lacked the resources to do their big work. They would say things like "She's already doing this, so how can I?" or "Who am I to do this?" I identified seven common blocks: believing in lack, thinking there's not enough to go around, comparing ourselves to others, needing to win at the expense of having fun, fearing rejection, having a need-more mentality, and fearing judgment. One of my students, Stephanie, prepared a workshop at her local library. When the day came, only one woman showed up - and she wasn't even there for the workshop. Instead of giving up, Stephanie shifted from a "get" mentality to a "give" mentality. She said, "I could actually use a miracle! Let's do it," and delivered an amazing workshop to that one person. Later, Stephanie called to share her story, excited about living her purpose and being in the light of service. The size of the audience was an afterthought in her retelling. To overcome these blocks, I developed the Universal Abundance Method. First, protect your desires by creating clear, loving boundaries with anyone who resists them. Second, focus on giving rather than getting - the moment you make it about service rather than ego, everything falls into place. Third, want more for others - when you genuinely want others to be abundant, your good fortune will multiply. Fourth, do something, anything, that brings you joy to quickly shift out of lack. Finally, turn on the faucet of abundance by directing your thoughts toward what's thriving. When you heal your lack mentality, you'll find that life is no longer a race from one achievement to the next. Instead, life becomes about the moment-to-moment experience of feeling good. As Dr. Wayne Dyer famously said, "You do not attract what you want; you attract what you are." Don't become the lack that you so greatly want to avoid. Instead, assume the feelings of joy, abundance, and prosperity to become a Super Attractor.

Chapter 4: Have Fun Along the Way

Joy is the ultimate creator and the most powerful vibration we can embody. When you calibrate your energy to the experience of joy, you become a magnet for whatever you think about. Yet many of us resist joy, especially when things aren't working out as planned. One Saturday morning, I went to a friend's house for breakfast. She was nervous because her 9-year-old son, Jack, was trying out for the baseball "majors" that day. When Jack returned home, it was obvious he hadn't been picked. I let him express his disappointment, and I watched as he naturally moved up the emotional scale. He went from despair to insecurity to anger to blame to worry. Later that day, he said he was bored - a huge leap up the scale! By evening, while discussing cars with my husband, Jack had moved up to passion and enthusiasm. This illustrates Abraham-Hicks's Emotional Guidance Scale, which shows that while you can't usually leap from misery to joy in one step, you can make small moves up the scale. The emotions you feel become the energy you emit, which is your point of attraction. When you're low on the scale, you attract people and experiences that match that vibration. As you lift yourself up, your point of attraction shifts with every step. To guide yourself up the scale, use the Choose Again Method: notice your thought, forgive it, and choose a better-feeling thought. You don't have to force yourself back to joy - just be honest about how you're feeling and choose the next best thought. Your willingness to feel better will guide you out of despair and into joy. One of the fastest ways to move up the scale is to do something that makes you feel good. If I've had a bad day, I'll pick out music, grab headphones, and go for a walk. I've learned that even if things aren't going as planned, I can still have fun. In fact, the more fun I have, the closer I get to attracting what I want. Sometimes we need to stop focusing so hard on our desires in order to attract them into our life. When you make fun a priority and release outcomes, you can stop complaining and start attracting. If you're trying to attract a romantic partner, have fun on those dating apps or blind dates. If you want a new job, find ways to have more fun in your current position. The good energy you bring will open doors for new opportunities. Trust that the more fun you have, the more you speed up the manifesting process.

Chapter 5: Connect with Invisible Guidance

Beyond the veil of the fear-based world, there are miracles waiting for you. You haven't blocked them - you just haven't been looking for them. Lesson 91 of A Course in Miracles says, "Miracles are seen in light." It's time for you to see with light. As a child, I was very aware of a world beyond my physical sight. I believed in angels and fairies and was highly intuitive. When we're young, there is no veil between the physical world and the spiritual realm. As we grow into adulthood, the spiritual realm becomes harder to access. We weave a veil between the Universal realm of spirit and the physical world we've grown to rely on. One month before writing this book, I hit a major low point with an undiagnosed stomach condition. I was in pain, couldn't eat, and was obsessed with finding solutions. After months of testing, I finally got a diagnosis but immediately began fixating on how to heal myself. My bodily obsession was perpetuating the problem, so I began to pray for relief. My prayers were answered over lunch with my friend Marianne Williamson. She looked me in the eyes and said, "You're obsessed with body identification." She reminded me that I could identify with the part of me going through the struggle (the body), or with the part not going through it (the spirit). She reminded me that the body heals when we're not looking at it. I took her advice and chose to identify with spirit. This didn't mean I stopped taking medication or following a healing protocol, but I stopped insistently focusing on the body, which was keeping me in the dark. To lift the veil between the world of perception and the world of spiritual connection, first don't judge yourself for perceiving darkness. The light never left you. Second, choose to see in the light by asking, "Do I wish to see this in the dark, or do I wish to see this in the light?" Third, be proud of your choice to see light. Fourth, meditate in the light using the Meditation for Lifting the Veil, which helps you transcend the energy of this world and step into a place of love. When you begin to see past the fear-based world, you'll want to lean toward the light as often as possible. You'll also feel called to bring that light with you wherever you go. Remember that your true power lies in your spiritual connection and your capacity to tune in to the energy of love and the inner vision of light.

Chapter 6: Take Spiritually Aligned Action

Being a Super Attractor is about strengthening your faith, tuning in to the energy of love, and allowing the Universe to guide you. To begin the practice of allowing, we must get out of the way and let spirit give us direction. In 2008, I was a few years into my career as a life coach and motivational speaker in New York City. I noticed a new zeitgeist emerging - more women were turning to spirituality instead of shoe boutiques in the quest for happiness. One afternoon, I had an inspired idea to pitch a story about this movement to the New York Times Sunday Styles section. I grabbed the number of a reporter named Allen and called immediately. I pitched him the idea that "All the girls who used to want to be Carrie Bradshaw now want to be more like self-help author Wayne Dyer." Nine months went by with little response, but I remained patient and faithful. I trusted that my powerful intentions combined with my faith were enough to allow my vision to become reality. I focused on being of service every day rather than obsessing over the outcome. Finally, Allen called me out of the blue to say the Times had picked up my story. During his interview at my apartment, Allen noticed a New York Times Sunday Styles masthead pinned to my vision board. I explained I'd been manifesting this story for years. Allen was shocked to discover it was from a story he had written three years earlier about food bloggers. This synchronicity confirmed I had surrendered to the natural laws of manifesting and allowed the Universe to support me. This experience taught me the Spiritually Aligned Action Method. First, make sure your desire is backed by inspiration and service. My desire for the Times story was about helping new seekers feel less alone. Second, believe the Universe will deliver. I knew there was an audience for my work and trusted the Universe was co-creating with me. Third, take action from a place of spiritual alignment. I was in a clear state when I fearlessly picked up the phone to pitch Allen. Fourth, have patience. I didn't push Allen to write the story but settled into my strong belief and allowed it to come at the perfect time. Manifesting isn't about having total control or satisfying all our short-term desires. True manifesting is about receiving what is of the highest good for all. When you surrender to the art of manifesting, you can trust that spirit is guiding you toward your desires and much more. Following this method will help you get out of the way and let the Universe support you.

Chapter 7: Appreciate and Receive More

One of the most important elements of co-creating the life you desire is to let appreciation lead you. Whatever you appreciate you create more of. This is because when you're in a state of appreciation, you're in vibrational alignment with your true love nature. In 2012, during my book tour in London, I met Jessica, an enthusiastic publicist from Hay House. She organized my two weeks perfectly and landed me some of the best media placements in the country. On a train ride to Birmingham, we talked about our desires. I confided that I thought my boyfriend would propose in Paris the following week, and she shared that she expected her boyfriend to propose in Portugal soon. We also discussed our career aspirations. Jessica mentioned that although she loved her job in London, she dreamed of living in a country town and working from home with her children. I told her, "Maybe one day we'll work together. Imagine that!" Four years later, Jessica emailed to say she was moving to the countryside and looking for a new job. The day I received this email, a loud inner voice told me to work with her. I called Jessica immediately to offer her a position, which she accepted on the spot. Now Jessica lives in the country with her husband and baby, working with me as a senior project manager! Our mutual appreciation created a working relationship beyond our wildest dreams. The fastest way to let go of control is to be in a state of appreciation. When you assume this energy, you feel good in the present moment regardless of whether your desires have manifested. Appreciation connects you to your Super Attractor power because when your focus is on what's working and thriving, you feel good, and that good-feeling state attracts more of what you want. Make appreciation a habit by beginning your day with it. Write three to five pages of appreciation in your journal every morning. Once you start to cultivate a feeling of appreciation, continue to reach for more. When you get into the flow of appreciation, create even more momentum behind it. Don't forget to express your appreciation once your desires manifest in your life. The best way to keep your manifestation flourishing is to appreciate it. Appreciation is also the antidote to worry. When you're in a state of appreciation, there's no room for worry because they cannot coexist. Any situation can be experienced with more love when we choose to see it through the lens of appreciation. Even the tough times can be seen through this lens. When you choose a perspective of appreciation, you can find great growth opportunities instead of remaining the victim of your experience.
